Wine Description

Vin Ruspo is a rosé wine from Carmignano DOC, obtained from Sangiovese, Cabernet, and Canaiolo grapes. Harvesting takes place in mid-August and vinification in steel tanks with brief skin contact. The result is a wine with a cherry-pink color, an intense aroma of strawberry, cherry and rose petals, and a balanced, intense flavor with lingering freshness. Vin Ruspo recalls the tradition of Tuscan sharecropping, with the farmer tasting “ruspando” the must before taking the grapes to the farm.

Food Pairing and Tasting Tips:

Vin Ruspo is suitable for tasting as an entry wine, as its freshness and lightness make it ideal for opening a meal. The recommended serving temperature is 14°C, to best appreciate its fragrance and freshness. Excellent with first courses, such as pasta with sauce or vegetable soups, this Carmignano DOC rosé also goes well with white meats, such as chicken or turkey.
