Learn to master the art of authentic Tuscan cooking, with typical recipes and local ingredients from our farmhouse in Capezzana
Discover the secrets of Tuscan cuisine with the Capezzana Cooking Class. A unique culinary experience that will allow you to learn how to prepare delicacies typical of the region, using fresh, wholesome ingredients sourced directly from Tenuta di Capezzana and the local area.
Countess Lisa Contini Bonacossi founded the Capezzana “wine and culinary center” in the late 1980s to bring her guests closer to Tuscan culture and tradition. Daily or weekly classes, held in our Tuscan winery, still offer an authentic culinary and wine experience. Chef Patrizio, with the family for over 29 years, leads the courses and will teach you the basic concepts of Tuscan cooking, revealing recipes that date back to the Medici era!
Tenuta di Capezzana’s farmhouse cooking class is an all-around experience that will allow you to learn how to cook typical Tuscan dishes, from first course to dessert. The course takes place in a fully equipped kitchen and is guided by our chef, who will show you all the steps for preparing the dishes using fresh and genuine ingredients. At the end of the lesson, you can taste your dishes and enjoy them with a selection of our fine wines.
